BRYAN, Texas — Cold front moving through the Brazos Valley Friday morning. The temperatures behind the front are not noticeably cool. The main change is the wind direction changing from the south to the north.

Winds will become rather elevated Friday late morning into the early afternoon hours. Winds will be sustained at 10-20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Make sure the light furniture & trashcans are secured.

Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper-60s Friday afternoon. As soon as the sun sets Friday, temperatures will cool rather quickly. Make sure you have the light jacket if you have evening/night plans as temperatures will fall into the 40s.

The weekend will be pleasant with temperatures in the 60s & 70s for highs, which is above average. Significant weather changes expected early next week as an Arctic cold front races south late Monday into early Tuesday.
