Bob's Forecast: Rain chances will continue for at least another week

Weather will ease back into more typical patterns next week

BRYAN, Texas — Rain chances will continue for at least another week, although they will be a little lower this weekend.

A low-pressure weakness in the upper levels over south Texas will stick around through Friday before high pressure attempts to build overhead on Saturday.

Another weak cold front dips southward into the state on Sunday.  It's not likely to make it this far south, but it could get close enough to bring an increase in shower activity again on Monday.

Later next week, it does appear that our weather will ease back into a more typical pattern bringing higher temperatures and lower rain chances.

Tropical Storm Elsa made landfall in Florida this morning and is expected to move up the East Coast as a tropical depression.  Elsewhere in the tropics, all is quiet for the time being.
