BRYAN, Texas — The TxDOT Bryan District will be hosting an in-person open house meeting for a number of proposed roadway improvements in Brazos and Burleson Counties at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute Headquarters in Bryan on Nov. 9.

Among the proposed roadway improvements for both counties include:

  • Improvements at FM 50 South
  • Improvements at FM 50 North
  • Improvements at OSR along State Highway 21

According to a release from TxDOT, the proposed changes "would construct Restricted Crossing U-Turn (R-CUT) intersections to enhance safety and improve the operation of the intersections."

The meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will last two hours. Those who cannot make the meeting in person can also attend online. A keyword search of "SH 21 Intersection Improvements" on the txdot.gov website should provide what is necessary to virtually attend the meeting, as well as view maps and materials related to the meeting.

The materials provided online will also be available to those in attendance at the in-person meeting.

The Texas A&M Transportation Institute Headquarters is located at 1111 RELLIS Parkway in Bryan.
