BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas — TxDOT has announced changes coming to Harvey Mitchell Parkway near Wellborn Road in College Station, which has had parts closed due to construction to create a bridge that will connect drivers between the two roads.
The changes will begin in the evening on Tuesday, Dec. 5 and will run overnight from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning. According to TxDOT, the road work is expected to be completed by the morning of Monday, Dec. 11.
The schedule is weather permitting, and will be adjusted as necessary to ensure the safety of the workers and drivers in the area.
While TxDOT advises drivers to take other routes, there will be delays and traffic stoppages for those that choose to navigate the area.
