Portion of Pendleton Drive in Bryan to close for road repairs

The closure will run through the middle of October, according to the city.

BRYAN, Texas — On Tuesday, Sept. 10, a portion of Pendleton Drive in Bryan was closed for road repairs.

The specific part of Pendleton Drive that was closed was at the intersection of FM 158 and Boonville Road to Beacon Heights. According to the City of Bryan, the closure will run through Oct. 15.

While the closure is in place, traffic will be redirected to University Drive and Oakmont Boulevard so drivers can access the open portion of Pendleton Drive.

The closure will also affect how residents at The Boxwoods at Oakmont are able to enter and exit the property. The complex can be accessed via Appalachian Trail, according to the city, and will be part of the first couple of weeks in the road repair project.

Once the repairs are done, access will be available via Pendleton Drive for residents. Those that wish to go through the area will not be able to do so, however, since the FM 158-Boonville Road intersection will be closed. The city says the intersection will remain closed for the duration of the road work.
