NAVASOTA, Texas — Lane closures are coming to southern Navasota on Tuesday.
According to the city and TxDOT, the lane closures will take place on southbound State Highway 6 over Business State Highway 6 in the south end of the town. The closure is for maintenance on the bridge and to upgrade the bridge rails. The ramp that connects the two roads will also be closed for the same reason.
Detour signs indicating alternate routes will be in place.
The maintenance and upgrades are expected to last five weeks, and is the first of five bridge upgrades that TxDOT has planned.
