NAVASOTA, Texas — The City of Navasota is closing several streets in the downtown area for the 2022 Home for the Holidays event on Saturday, Dec. 10.
From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. the following streets will be closed:
- McAlpine Street (from LaSalle to Farquhar Street)
- Farquhar Street (from McAlpine to Holland Street)
From 5 p.m. to the end of the parade the following streets will be closed:
- Brosing Street
- Brule Street
The event includes a parade that will cause the following streets to close at Washington Avenue from 5:45 p.m. to the end of the parade:
- Leon Street
- Wood Street
- South Brewer Street
- Church Street
- Nolan Street
- Millican Street
- LaSalle Street
- Farquhar Street
- 9th Street
- 10th Street
- Washington Avenue (from Brosing Avenue to 9th Street)
Traffic from Highway 105 will be rerouted to the truck route on FM 379.
