MADISON COUNTY, Texas — Road closures are coming to Madison County, according to the Texas Department of Transportation Bryan district.
The stretch of FM 39 between FM 978 and FM 1452 West will close as crews work on widening the road. Message signs have been placed to notify drivers of the closures. Detour signage is also in place to give those on the road an alternate travel path.
TxDOT urges drivers to be cautious during this time and to anticipate delays. The organization also says the closure is expected to last through the end of the week, until Friday.
