COLLEGE STATION, Brazos County — TxDOT has revealed in a press release that the ramp from Harvey Mitchell Parkway to Wellborn Road will close on Sunday at 6 p.m.
The ramp will be closed for about four months, according to the release. According to TxDOT, the lane closures coming on Sunday will be completed before 6 a.m. on Monday.
TxDOT advises drivers aiming to get to Wellborn Road to take George Bush Drive as an alternate route. Additionally, Harvey Mitchell Parkway access to the Jones-Butler U-turn will be closed permanently, according to the release.
The organization says the closure is "to complete construction of the southbound bridge, approaches and retaining walls."
