Madubuike, Davis, and Rogers NFL Draft Outlook

Round one of the NFL Draft likely won't feature any Aggies, but the best bet is Justin Madubuike. Most analysts though have the defensive lineman going in round two.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — It's fun to look at mock drafts, but the real deal gets underway on Thursday night.

Round one of the NFL Draft most likely won't feature any Aggies, but the best bet is Justin Madubuike.

Most draft analysts though have the defensive lineman going in the second round, which would be on Friday night.

If Madubuike doesn't go in the first 32 picks, it will mark the third straight year Texas A&M has produced a first round talent.

Madubuike will be taking part in ESPN's coverage of the fully virtual draft. In his latest mock draft, Todd McShay has Madubuike going to the Texans at number 40 overall.

Similar to Madubuike, Quartney Davis declared early and helped his draft stock by performing well at the NFL Combine in addition to the Senior Bowl.

Most mock drafts have Davis going on Saturday in either the fourth or fifth round.

After Davis, the next Aggie product off the board will likely be fellow wide receiver Kendrick Rogers. Rogers is projected to go by many analysts to go in the sixth or seventh round.
