COLLEGE STATION, Texas — In the span of an hour, a pair of Texas A&M football players announced they are turning pro.
First up was Debione Renfro, and this was a surprising move considering Renfro is entering the NFL Draft without a single interception during his Aggie career. The defensive back did though have four pass breakups in 2019 and finished with 14 passes defended over three years.
We go to the offensive side of the ball for the next NFL Draft declaration. Wide receiver Kendrick Rogers announced he's skipping his senior campaign. Rogers racked up just over 350 receiving yards in 2019 to go with two touchdowns.
In all, the Frankston native leaves Aggieland with over 780 receiving and seven touchdowns.
Rogers and Renfro join fellow Aggies in wide receiver Quartney Davis and defensive lineman Justin Madubuike to enter the Draft.
