COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M's junior CB Jaylon Jones announced that he is declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft on Sunday, Dec. 4.
Jones has played in 32 games during his career at A&M, totaling 72 solo tackles and three interceptions.
Jones took to Twitter Sunday evening to make this announcement. In his post, it appears this decision was not an easy one for him to make.
"I have found myself at a crossroad, with a decision that was very difficult and required a lot a prayer and conversation with my family."
Jones goes on to thank everyone from Coach Fisher to the academic staff for helping him through his journey at Texas A&M.
Jones is 6 foot 2 inches and weighs 205 pounds. This is a good size for a cornerback prospect, but only time will tell how the NFL scouts choose to rank him.
