LINDALE, Texas (KYTX) – Ronald Stribble, minister of First Baptist Church of Lindale, was charged with prostitution and arrested Wednesday January, 6th in Tyler.
The police arrest report indicates the 66-year-old minister visited a social media website, and arranged to meet a female at a Tyler hotel for solicitation where money would be exchanged for services.
The report further states when Stribble arrived at the La Quinta Inn on Loop 323, he was confronted by plain clothes police officers who were conducting an undercover investigation. Stribble was then arrested and booked into the Smith County Jail, and later released on a $500 bond.
Stribble is the Senior Adult Minister at the First Baptist Church in Lindale, and has been with the church since 1990.
