TxDOT signs support Texas A&M ahead of Arkansas game

As Texas A&M fans are making the trip to Saturday's game in Arlington, they have some support from Texas Department of Transportation.

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Texas A&M Fightin' Aggies and their fans are gearing up to make the trip to Arlington ahead of Saturdays game against Arkansas.

The Aggies take on the Razorbacks Saturday at 11 a.m. at AT&T Stadium.

And as the team and fans make the trip, they have some support from Texas Department of Transportation.

Signs along I-35 say, "GIG EM NOW, CALL EM LATER," and "DRIVE SMART, FARMERS FIGHT."

Marc Williams, Deputy Executive Director for TxDOT was Class of '90.

He said TxDOT tries to implement innovative and creative signs. By doing this, they get more attention and bring awareness to a larger issue - driving distracted.

The signs can be seen on some parts of Highway Six and I-35.
