TEEX hosts firefighters from all over the world in their annual public fire fighting demonstration

The training school is the largest in the world, and close to 1,500 firefighters participated this week, along with over 450 guest instructors and safety officers.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas —

The Public Firefighting Demo Night is hosted every year by the Emergency Services Training Institute of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).

Participants from all over the world come to join this event, where the instructors with the 90th Annual Municipal Fire Training School demonstrate the techniques they use to extinguish fires on several full-scale, live-fire scenarios.

The training school is the largest in the world, and close to 1,500 firefighters participated this week, along with over 450 guest instructors and safety officers.

Robert Moore, the Director of the Emergency Services Training Institute, hopes that this public demonstration gives an inside look into what the fire training school is all about.

The school trains year-round, and the public is always welcome to attend the sessions and events.
