BRYAN, Texas — St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan has been named a high-performing hospital for 2023 and 2024 by U.S. News & World Report for their treatment of multiple types of medical conditions.
The treatments that St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital was recognized for was their treatment of Acute Kidney Failure, COPD, Heart Failure, and Stroke.
"I am incredibly proud of our teams and the way the work they do to deliver exceptional care to our patients," said Kim Shaw, St. Joseph Health President and CEO in a press release about the award. "It is exciting to see their hard work recognized in such a meaningful way."
According to a release from St. Joseph Health, "The U.S. News Best Hospitals methodologies in most areas of care are based largely on objective measures such as risk-adjusted survival and discharge-to-home rates, volume, and quality of nursing, among other care-related indicators."
