BRYAN, Texas — On Wednesday, St. Joseph Health announced that they have awarded five Brazos Valley nonprofit organizations with grants totaling $135,000.
A luncheon will be held at C&J Barbecue on Friday to celebrate and award representatives from the organizations receiving the grant money.
"Each of these incredible organization is making a profound impact on the health of our community, and we are proud to support their efforts," said St. Joseph Health Market President and CEO Kim Shaw in a press release. "This investment is a testament to our belief in the transformative power of community partnerships, and we look forward to the positive outcomes of these collaborations through the communities we serve."
Among the nonprofits receiving grant money include:
- The Prenatal Clinic
- The Rose
- Twin City Mission
- United Way's Ride2Health
- and the Grimes Health Resource Center
