Rockdale ISD added the following statement:
"Upon learning of these allegations on September 21, 2023, Rockdale ISD took immediate and decisive action. The safety and welfare of our students remain our top priority, and we will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement during their investigation."
The district says it cannot comment further on the details of the case in order to uphold the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and to protect the privacy of those involved.
