Robertson County puts burn ban into effect

Triple digit temperatures across the Brazos Valley have prompted a burn ban to be put in place for Robertson County.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Texas — Robertson County has put a burn ban into effect. As a result of the ruling, no outdoor burning will be allowed until the burn ban is lifted.

In 2022, a burn ban was put in place for the county for multiple months due to the dry conditions and little rainfall that came to the Brazos Valley. In September, the burn was temporarily lifted, but was reinstated the month after, eventually being lifted in November.
