NAVASOTA, Texas — More road work will be done in Navasota starting on Thursday.
According to the city, Union Pacific will be making repairs to three railroad crossings along Railroad Street from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m. Detour signs will be in place for drivers, but it's advised to avoid the areas being worked on during the morning closure period.
The closings and dates are as follows:
- Thursday, Jan. 25: Blackshear Street and Railroad Street
- Friday, Jan. 26: McAlpine Street and Railroad Street
- Saturday, Jan. 27: Holland Street and Railroad Street
The city of Navasota also says that there will be more 18-wheelers in the area and advises drivers to be mindful of detour signs.
