NAVASOTA, Texas — A major water leak was reported in Navasota Monday morning, at North Lasalle Street and Brookshire Brothers.

The leak has caused public works crews to shut off the water to parts of Duke Street, White Street, Brosig Avenue, and the aforementioned North LaSalle Street.

While crews are working to get water restored to the area, a city spokesperson told KAGS shortly after 9 a.m. that there is not an expected timeline of when the leak is going to be repaired.

As of 4:46 p.m. on Monday, the water leak has been repaired, water has been restored to the area, and North LaSalle Street was forecasted to be reopened between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
