BUFFALO, Leon County — On Sunday, the Leon County Sheriff's Office advised residents near Buffalo to be aware of an escaped fugitive that was last seen on foot traveling north of County Road 270. He has since been captured.
The man they were looking for was Jonathon Colton Bricker, of Mexia, who was wanted for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Felony Evasion. On Dec. 19, 2023, Limestone County Crime Stoppers put out a post asking for assistance locating Bricker.
Authorities put out their first post advising residents to be vigilant and on the lookout for Bricker around 9:19 p.m. on Sunday, eventually updating their original post shortly before 9 a.m. on Monday stating that he had been taken into custody.
