Ever wondered whether two people could have fit on the wood panel from 'Titanic?' You can buy it and find out.

The panel from "Titanic," often mistaken for a door, is among 1,600 movie props and costumes up for auction later this month through Dallas-based Heritage Auctions.

DALLAS — Ever wanted to test the theory about whether two people could have fit on the famous floating wooden panel from “Titanic?”

You can buy it through Dallas-based Heritage Auctions and test the theory for yourself.

Often mistaken for a door, the panel is actually part of the door frame above the first-class lounge movie, according to Heritage.

The panel, a dress the character Rose wore in “Titanic,” running shoes from “Forrest Gump,” the Harley Davidson chopper Bruce Willis rode in “Pulp Fiction,” are among more than 1,600 movie props and costumes in Heritage’s Treasures from Planet Hollywood collection. The pieces span movies from “Star Wars,” “Jurassic Park” and many more.  They’ll be up for auction March 20-24.

The pieces were displayed in Planet Hollywood restaurant locations worldwide. At one point, there were more than 100 locations worldwide, including in Dallas.

“This auction is an extremely exciting, pivotal moment for Planet Hollywood,” Robert Earl, chairman and co-founder of Planet Hollywood, said. “We are honored to collaborate with Heritage on this unique collection that features a selection of memorabilia from our vaults. As the Planet Hollywood brand expands beyond restaurants and embraces innovative and interactive memorabilia experiences, we are excited to present a taste of our collection and look forward to sharing it with film lovers everywhere who will delight in bringing home a piece of Hollywood history.”
