COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Several reports of a shooting in a College Station neighborhood Tuesday led to the arrest of the alleged victim, according to court documents.
Isaiah Luna, 22, is charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of more than 2 oz of marijuana. His last known address is listed as Hearne.
Police officers responded to a home on the 700 block of Vasser Court late Tuesday afternoon after several calls for help came in for a shooting. Officers said they learned Luna came out of the house after the shooting and put two backpacks in the trunk of a vehicle parked out in front and went back inside before officers got to the scene.
Officers said they requested a search warrant and began searching the home and the vehicles outside. Inside one of the cars, they found the two backpacks that Luna had been accused of putting in the trunk. Officers said they found over 3 oz of marijuana between the two backpacks and materials used in the packaging and selling of narcotics.
Officers said when they asked Luna about the backpacks, they said he told them he had put them in the trunk of the car before they got to the scene because he knew they were going to search the house, according to court documents.
Luna is currently in the Brazos County Jail on $15,000 bond.
Police said no one was shot and they have not yet arrested those responsible. If you have any information, please call the College Station Police Department at 979-764-3600 or call Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS. You can remain anonymous.
