COLLEGE STATION, Texas — College Station Police Department arrested 23-year-old Daylin Kessee for assault with a deadly weapon and running from the police, according to a Facebook Post from the department on Monday, Dec. 18.

College Station PD says officers responded to an apartment at 700 Dominik Drive after someone reported that they could hear screaming and yelling coming from a nearby apartment.

Soon after the first report, a woman called 911 crying and saying “Why do you want to kill me, why do you have a knife though?” and then the call disconnected.

According to police, officers quickly arrived on scene and found Kessee leaving the apartment. Kessee was out on bond for a family violence charge against the same victim.

Police say Kessee began running from officers, that's when K9 units and a Drone Operator were called in to assist and set a perimeter.

Kessee was located inside of the Pearl Apartments, he continued to run from officers, but he was eventually arrested without further incident.

According to College Station PD, Kessee is being charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, evading arrest with previous conviction and violation of certain court orders or conditions of bond in a family violence case
