Bryan man, suspected of several local armed robberies, now in custody

Bryan police name Ronald Miller Jr. as their suspect in local robberies back in September 2019. Now he's behind bars.

BRYAN, Texas — A Bryan man, who was named as the suspect in several local armed robberies, is now in the Brazos County Jail.

Ronald Miller Jr., 27, is charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug and evading arrest. The charges come from several law enforcement agencies.

Miller was arrested Tuesday after a search warrant was served at a home in Bryan. Upon searching him after his arrest, authorities said they found marijuana and prescription drugs in his pocket.

Bryan police released Miller's name to the public back in September and named him as their suspect in a robbery of the Quick Mart on East Villa Maria and the University Inn on South Texas Avenue.

Two days later on September 9, investigators said a man, who they believe to be Miller, walked into the Quick Mart on the 2900 block of East Villa Maria and robbed the store. They said the suspect in this robbery also had their face covered and got away with the cash.

Miller is currently in the Brazos County Jail on $406,000 bond.
