BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas — On Wednesday, Brazos County Crime Stoppers announced that they had made Program Coordinator Rob Santarsiero their new Executive Director.
Santarsiero has served in multiple different aspects throughout the area for many years, but his involvement with Crime Stoppers began in 2018, when he joined as an ex-officio member of the organization's Board of Directors. In 2020, he became the organization's Program Director.
He would continue in that role even after his retirement from the Sheriff's Office, and was even awarded the Sheriff Christopher Kirk Legacy Award in 2023 for his work.
According to a press release, the Executive Director position is new to the organization, but is essential for the growth of Crime Stoppers in their efforts to support law enforcement and the community.
