A&M Corps of Cadets to line library entrance for Bush 41 funeral procession

The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and the members of the Aggie Band will line the entrance to the George HW Bush Presidential Library for President Bush’s funeral procession, Thursday afternoon.

The president’s casket will be removed from a train car and driven via motorcade to the presidential library and burial site. The Corps will line the last leg of the motorcade’s journey from the beginning of Barbara Bush drive to the library grounds.

The Corps similarly lined the library’s entrance for Barbara Bush’s burial service in April 2018.

The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets is a student military organization at Texas A&M, founded in 1876. Students who participate in the Corps are allowed to attempt to earn a military commission upon graduation.
