COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Sitting on over 400 acres, Aggieland Safari is home to 1,000 animals and 100 different species.
Guests can walk or drive-thru different exhibits, getting up close and personal to the exotic animals.
"To be able to spend your day and soak in these animals in a natural setting is awesome," said Brandi Riley, a managing partner.
From zebras, to monkeys, to turtles and kangaroos -- there are animals from all walks of life.
"You are going to get to see animals that are endangered or completely extinct in the wild," Riley said.
You can even find animals that make this a one-in-a-kind park.
"Howdy" the Hippo is the only hippo in over 60 miles. And being in College Station, the name is fitting.
