Local volunteer healthcare workers needed: Active, retired, and medical/nursing students welcome

Active and retired healthcare professionals along with medical and nursing students in the Brazos Valley are encouraged to register.

BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas —

Communities across the nation are calling on volunteer healthcare professionals to help provide  hospital care due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and Brazos County is doing the same.

Many preventive measures are being taken to protect our local healthcare infrastructure, and will continue, but it is important to prepare in case more healthcare providers are needed in the COVID-19 response effort.

Active and retired healthcare professionals along with medical and nursing students who are willing to provide volunteer services within the Brazos Valley are encouraged to register through the clinical provider registration portal

Once they’ve registered, a healthcare organization will follow up with you to see how you can help serve the community.

For questions regarding how you can volunteer, you can visit https://health.tamu.edu/covid-help/.
