COLLEGE STATION, Texas — On March 18, Governor Greg Abbott issued a waiver that will allow restaurants to deliver alcoholic beverages with food purchases to patrons, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks

The waiver is meant to help restaurants thrive during the new restrictions put into place during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The State of Texas is committed to supporting retailers, restaurants, and their employees," said Abbott. "These waivers will allow restaurants to provide enhanced delivery options to consumers during this temporary period of social distancing."

Many restaurants are already offering beer and wine selections with their to-go orders. But, Texans have had a harder time finding margaritas to go with their chips and dip.

Have no fear! I called around so you wouldn't have to. Below is a list of local restaurants offering to-go and delivery options for margaritas.
