COLLEGE STATION, Texas — April 21 marks the first time in its history that the university’s most sacred and visible tradition will unfold as a primarily virtual event. Aggies everywhere are invited to observe Aggie Muster Tues., April 21, on MusterLive.AggieNetwork.com

Programming will begin at 6:51 a.m. with The Association of Former Students’ Worldwide Roll Call, which includes the names of every Aggie --1,523 in total -- who have passed away since the last Muster.

Names were read by more than 60 Aggies around the world and compiled into video format which will conclude with a special rendition of the Spirit of Aggieland, sung by the worldwide Aggie Network.

The Muster webpage will also include maps pinpointing Muster events as well as the locations of Aggies who are visiting the page. Highlighting the fact that even though Aggies can not be together physically, we are all here in spirit.

“Although we are temporarily separated by circumstances, we are forever united in spirit — a spirit of service that connects us all across Texas, around the nation and in hundreds of locations around the world,” said Texas A&M President, Michael K. Young . “It’s in times like these that we gain strength from those who have come before us, Aggies whose lives and examples give us faith that we can rise above every obstacle and overcome every challenge.”

The Texas A&M Campus Muster, organized by the student Muster Committee, will be available at 7:00 p.m., and A&M Club Musters will be shown throughout the day, as well. The Brazos County A&M Club Muster will begin at 6:00 p.m.  All programming will be available live, as well as on-demand.

Aggies can actively participate in Muster throughout the day by answering “Here” virtually through the interactive Muster Live site and can also upload photos of loved ones to the site.

MusterLive.AggieNetwork.com is a collaboration between The Association of Former Students, the Campus Muster Committee and Texas A&M’s Division of Marketing and Communications.
