COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The end of the fall semester is fast approaching for College Station ISD and school districts across the Brazos Valley.
However, for CSISD middle school musicians, they've achieved great honors of their own, with many qualifying and earning All-Region honors through the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) audition process.
In total, 47 students from College Station Middle School, Wellborn Middle School, and A&M Consolidated Middle School earned All-Region honors, and got to work with distinguished conductors and perform at the TMEA Region 8 Band concert, which was held on Nov. 11 at Belton High School.
To earn All-Region honors is the highest distinction a middle school musician can achieve.
