BRYAN, Texas — Two men have been arrested and charged in an attempted home invasion on North Rosemary Drive.
Kameron Holley, 19, and Jervonta Neal, 19, are both charged with burglary of habitation.
Holley is also charged with evading arrest.
The call for help came in Tuesday, July 9th just after 11 a.m.
The victim said Holley knocked on his door, but since he didn't know Holley, he didn't answer it.
He said Holley went around to the homeowner's back door and kicked it open.
The homeowner said when Holley saw him standing in the kitchen, Holley and another man, later identified as Neal, ran through his backyard and into the drainage ditch on East 29th Street.
Police arrived on the scene and said they found Neal walking near Spring Loop and Autumn Circle and arrested him.
They said Holley again ran from the scene but was found on Fall Circle and arrested just minutes later.
The victim later identified Holley and Neal as the men at his home and Holley as the man who had kicked down the door.
The victim suffered minor injuries after pieces of broken door hit him in the face but he is expected to be okay.
