COLLEGE STATION, Texas — We now know the names of the two people arrested after the College Station Police Department attempted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Wellborn Rd.

The female driver has been identified as 35-year-old Jessica Priesner and the man in the car with her was 31-year-old Shon Notter.

On Monday Police attempted to stop Priesner after witnessing her on her phone while driving. She ignored officers and continued to drive, following all traffic laws but making no effort to stop. The officer attempting to conduct a traffic stop then saw the passenger, Shon Notter, get out of the car and run away. Priesner eventually stopped and was taken into custody for driving with an invalid license and fleeing.

Patrol officers, along with deputies from the Brazos County Constables Office, set up a perimeter to locate Notter who ran away. Later in the day officers got a call from some concerned citizens about a man hiding in their backyard. Through that call, police were able to locate Notter and take him into custody without incident.

After the arrest of both Priesner and Notter Pollice searched their car and found several empty syringes and two grams of a crystal-like substance which later tested positive for methamphetamine.

Jessica Priesner was later released on a $6,000 bond.

Shon Notter is facing multiple charges including evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance. Through his arrest police discovered he had 5 active warrants out for his arrest from different agencies, including from Trinity and Burleson Counties. He is being held on bonds totaling $38,000.

In a post on X CSPD asks that residents in the area between Holleman Dr and Hereford to Angus and Fairview be on the lookout for possible discarded narcotics. They believe Notter may have thrown out some drugs while on the run from police.

If you live in that area please check your property for any items that look suspicious and don't belong to you. Coming into contact with the improperly disposed narcotics can pose a serious risk to both people and pets.
