ROCKDALE, Texas — On Thursday, around 11 a.m., the Milam County Sheriff's Office discovered and seized multiple pounds of illegal substances from a home in Rockdale.
The search warrant was executed in the 800 block of San Gabriel Street in collaboration with the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office and Rockdale Police Department. In total, 12.5 pounds of illegal narcotics--roughly nine pounds of which were believed to be methamphetamines--were seized.
While nobody was home when authorities executed the search warrant, officials say an investigation into the matter will continue.
