Three Texas A&M women's basketball players arrested for marijuana possession

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Three Texas A&M women's basketball players were arrested after midnight on Wednesday after being found high outside an apartment complex in College Station, according to an arrest report from College Station Police.

Shortly after 12:30 Wednesday morning, calls were made to CSPD about individuals in a car outside the Holleman Crossing Apartments in College Station playing loud music and smoking marijuana. When an officer approached the car, he smelled marijuana and found Kayla Green, Kyndall Hunter, and Maliyah Johnson high in the vehicle.

Johnson and Hunter were charged with possession of marijuana in a quantity less than two ounces, a Class B misdemeanor. Green was charged with possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2 in a quantity less than one gram and possession of marijuana in a quantity less than two ounces.

All three women were booked into the Brazos County Jail on Wednesday, and have been released from jail on bond as of publish time. Johnson and Hunter's bonds were $2,000, while Green's bonds totaled $7,000.
