MADISONVILLE, Texas — An investigation is being conducted into a shooting death that took place on Saturday, according to Madisonville Police.

Police Chief Herbert Gilbert informed KAGS of the shooting shortly before 8 a.m. that day. The shooting was reported at Motel 6, located at 2007 East Main Street.
