Man arrested in connection to bank robbery case involving festively dressed individual

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — Just a handful of days after the Huntsville Police Department asked the public for their help finding a man that robbed a VeraBank in a festive disguise on Monday, one person has been arrested, according to officials.

David Rodriguez was arrested by officials from the Huntsville Police Department and Walker County Sheriff's Office on warrants on Friday, and was charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer, Taking a Weapon from a Peace Officer, and Resisting Arrest.

Although an arrest has been made, police say that an investigation into the events that took place that day is still ongoing.
