HOUSTON — A teen accused of fatally shooting his brother has been arrested and charged with murder.
The shooting happened at a mobile home park on Erby Street and Duval Street in southeast Houston on Feb. 25.

Police said witnesses told them the victim, Jose Mares, 27, was found in a bedroom closet with multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators determined the victim's brother, Christopher Mares, 18, allegedly shot him and then left the scene.
Christopher Mares later turned himself in and was charged with murder, according to police.
