Fort Worth man arrested at College Station CVS Pharmacy, charged with stabbing girlfriend and attempted kidnapping

On March 29, Francisco Celis allegedly stabbed his girlfriend in the neck with scissors and stated he was going to take her to Mexico.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — A Fort Worth man is in custody for allegedly stabbing and attempting to kidnap his girlfriend on March 29, according to College Station Police.

Francisco Ivan Celis, 21, reportedly visited the victim against her wishes, and while she attempted to get away from him, stabbed her in the neck with a pair of scissors, narrowly missing an artery. The victim said Celis strangled her and threatened to kill her if she made a scene.

Celis also forced the victim into his car and drove to the CVS Pharmacy in College Station off of Texas Avenue South, stating he was going to take her to Mexico. Police were informed of the situation after the victim's family members received messages from her asking for help and to call authorities.

CSPD found Celis and the victim inside the CVS with injuries to her neck. The College Station Fire Department treated her and took her to a local hospital.

Celis was taken into custody and has been charged with Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is being held in the Brazos County Jail on bonds totaling $800,000.
