Four shots fired calls across Bryan-College Station believed to be connected, police say

Bryan Police said they believe the incidents are related to a "known group of individuals" enacting violence against one another.

BRYAN, Texas — At least two people were injured following a series of four recent shootings reported across the city, which Bryan Police Department believes are connected to a group of individuals involved in ongoing violent disputes.

According to the Bryan Police Department, the four incidents took place at various locations across the city:

  • On Thursday, Nov. 21, Bryan PD received reports of a shooting during a "physical interaction" between a group of people in the area of East 29th Street and Goessler Street, the department said. There were reportedly no victims or suspects in the area when police arrived.
  • On Friday, Nov. 22, Bryan Police reportedly received calls of multiple shots fired involving two vehicles at the intersection of Barak Lane and Oakridge Drive. Both vehicles have been located and persons of interest have been identified, according to police.
  • Also on Nov. 22, police said one person suffered a non-life threatening wound after being struck by gunfire in their vehicle during a shooting involving multiple suspects in the 1900 block of Sibsa Way.
  • On Tuesday, Nov. 26, Bryan Police said one person was hit by "errant gunfire" inside their home in the 1900 block of Fawnwood. The victim also reportedly suffered a non-life threatening injury.

"All of the incidents are related to a known group of individuals who are carrying out these violent acts against one another," said Bryan PD in a statement.  "Our investigations into these incidents are active and continue to develop information and leads that require follow-up. Additional staffing has been dedicated to address these incidents."
