College Station Police searching for suspect in Aggravated Sexual Assault

Police say the suspect ran from the crime scene before they arrived and describe him as a man in his mid to early 20's.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — College Station Police are investigating an Aggravated Sexual Assault that took place at night on Thursday, Sept. 12.

According to CSPD, officers received a report from the 400 block of Southwest Parkway after callers stated they heard screaming and glass being shattered. When CSPD officers arrived, they found a victim that had been sexually assaulted by an unknown person inside the apartment and had fled the scene. They were taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries that occurred from the assault.

CSPD K9 and a drone operator were called to the crime scene in an attempt to find the suspect, but were unable to locate him. 

The suspect is described as an African American male in his early to mid 20's with short hair, a beard, and was noted as wearing a blue hoodie. Police say the incident is a random crime.
