BRYAN, Texas — A second man has been arrested for a report of shots fired in the Bryan area three weeks ago, according to an update from Bryan PD.
Zanavian Williams, 18, of Bryan, was arrested on April 5 for shooting at a home early in the morning on March 16, according to an arrest report. He was brought into custody after police discovered he had posted a video on Instagram holding a pistol and "threatening retaliation."
According to the arrest report, the video was posted a few days before the reported shootings. The shootings themselves stemmed from a fight that broke out at Knight Club in College Station that CSPD had broken up earlier that evening.
Joshua Peterson, one of the men arrested, reportedly lost a fight at Knight Club, and chose to shoot at a house in retaliation. The house was the one in the 1100 block of Jordan Loop in College Station.
After Williams was arrested, he was questioned by police about his involvement in the reported shootings that day, and admitted he was in the car that was connected to the shootings.
On Wednesday, both men were served warrants for the shootings at both homes on March 16, and are currently in custody.
Police say they are still investigating the matter.
