Man arrested for hitting parked car with Bryan ISD school bus with kids inside

Bryan Police say the incident occurred around 7 a.m. Thursday morning. No students were injured and the car that was hit didn't have anyone inside.

BRYAN, Texas — A Bryan ISD bus driver has been arrested after hitting a parked car with a district school bus while under the influence of alcohol.

According to Bryan Police, Thursday morning around 6:58 a.m. they were notified of a "minor accident" around Lakeview Street and Fairway Drive. When they arrived, they discovered a Bryan ISD school bus had hit a parked car in the area.

Police say no students were injured and the car that was hit was unoccupied.

The driver of the bus, Mark Spicker, 64, of Bryan, was arrested after an investigation and is being charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger Under 15 years of age.

As of publish time, a bond has not been set for Spicker, according to Brazos County Jail Records.
