BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas — Brazos County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help on a missing person case that has been open since 1991.
According to Crime Stoppers, Jerry Gayle Woodard went missing on May 20, 1991 in eastern Brazos County. His 1983 Buick Park Avenue was reportedly found abandoned at the end of Long Trussel Road near the Navasota River.
Despite a "massive" search effort including multiple agencies, a DPS helicopter, dogs and law enforcement on horseback and 4-wheelers, no trace of Woodard was found, said Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers said the case is still open, and they still hope to bring closure to Woodard's family.

Tips to Crime Stoppers can be made anonymously and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the tip leads to Woodard's recovery.
