COLLEGE STATION, Texas — High school students got to experience what life is like as an Aggie in the College of Geosciences during the ninth annual GeoX summer program.
Sixty incoming freshmen stopped at Triple JJJ Ranch for activities that included drone flights, wetland declination and water sampling.
While the camp's mission is to be a fun and immersive experience for potential Aggies, the college wants students to know how lucrative joining their ranks can be
"Geosciences is a really broad application that can apply to every industry... and a lot of different careers... and it's a very useful and rewarding type of career that they can go into," said Travis Burks, the recruiting coordinator said.
The camp takes place every summer and is absolutely free to those that participate.
