BRYAN, Texas — Through Friday, the Aggieland Humane Society is holding their "pay their age" senior pet adoption special.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) the organization announced that all dogs ages eight and older can be adopted at a cost equal to their age. For example, if a dog is ten years old, the adoption fee will be $10.

Since 1983, the Aggieland Humane Society has provided a home to homeless and abandoned dogs. This organization aims to create a "no-kill" community for animals in the Bryan-College Station area.

Between 2021 and 2022 the shelter saw over 1,000 dogs fostered and 800 dogs adopted.

To view dogs currently available for adoption and to fill out an adoption application, visit the Aggieland Humane Society's adoption page.
