Second day of Early Voting closes with increased turnout

The second day saw hundreds of voters at election locations.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — A total of 232 Walker County residents checked-in during Tuesday's early voting session, an increase from the Monday's turnout of 163 voters. At the end of the casting their ballots, election officials gave a total of 395 votes within the two days of early voting. 

Early voting will continue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays through Nov 1 at the Walker County Storm Shelter. Early voting will conclude with extended hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 2 and Nov 3. 

Voters are encouraged to review a sample ballot before voting in this Constitutional Amendment Election.
