10th annual Christmas Tree Giveaway for military, teachers, first responders being held at Twin Peaks in Bryan

The tree giveaway will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 at Twin Peaks in Bryan.

BRYAN, Texas — Avalanche Food Group, the organization that owns restaurant chain Twin Peaks, has announced that they will be hosting their 10th annual Christmas Tree Giveaway at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Bryan for retired and active military members, first responders, and teachers.

The giveaway will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and will see 100 freshly cut and ready-to-set-up trees given away with tree stands and ornaments included.

Recently, the restaurant has been handing out vouchers to active and retired military members, first responders, and teachers. Those who have obtained a voucher are eligible to receive a tree, but those who didn't are still welcome to attend.

Any leftover trees from the giveaway will be offered to any teachers, military members, and first responders that have a valid ID, according to a news release.

"For our Twin Peaks family, giving Christmas trees to our military heroes, first responders, educators, and their families each year has become a cherished holiday tradition," said Avalanche Food Group COO Ricky Rosa in a press release. "We'll be giving away 100 trees here in Bryan and handing out nearly 1,000 trees total this year to brighten the holidays for families at our Twin Peaks locations. It's a meaningful way for us to show our gratitude and support for those who proudly serve our country and our community."

Avalanche Food Group has given away over 5,000 Christmas trees to military and civilian families-in-need since 2013, and will give away 950 ready-to-set-up trees at the group's locations in Bryan, Houston, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, McAllen, and Greenwood, Indiana and Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Twin Peaks Bryan restaurant is located at 768 N. Earl Rudder Fwy.
